The Diaspora Code and Founders Bridge Equip Employees and Business Owners with Tax and Financial Knowledge
The UK Tax & Money Masterclass successfully concluded on Sunday, 26 July 2026, bringing
together employees, professionals, entrepreneurs and business owners from across the United
Kingdom for a free online learning session held via Zoom.
Organised by Founders Bridge CIC, with support from The Diaspora Code, the two-session
masterclass was designed to improve financial awareness, tax compliance and business knowledge
while helping participants better understand their responsibilities with HMRC and Companies
House.
The sessions were facilitated by Moyin Adegbemi, Founder of Estandz Place Consulting Ltd and a
UK Accountant and Tax & Business Finance Consultant, who delivered practical, easy-to-understand
guidance using real-life examples.
The first session focused on employees and individuals, covering payslips, tax codes, National
Insurance, workplace pensions, HMRC letters, tax refunds and common payroll deductions.
Participants were encouraged to review their payslips regularly, understand their tax codes and
download the HMRC App to monitor their tax records and manage their tax affairs more effectively.
The second session was tailored to entrepreneurs and business owners, covering business
structures, bookkeeping, Companies House compliance, Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE responsibilities
and sound financial management. Attendees also learned the importance of maintaining accurate
records, separating personal and business finances, and monitoring cash flow to support business
growth.
An interactive question-and-answer session gave participants the opportunity to receive practical
guidance on tax code changes, VAT registration, tax refunds, changing accountants and employer
responsibilities.
As part of the MasterClass, attendees were encouraged to take immediate action by downloading the
HMRC App, reviewing their latest payslips and strengthening their financial management practices.
Business owners also received a free Basic business listing on DiasporaMarket247.com to help
increase their visibility and reach more customers.
Participants described the MasterClass as practical, insightful and highly valuable, praising the clear
explanations, actionable advice and opportunity to ask questions directly to a tax professional.
The event concluded with the announcement of the next educational programme, Website Design
and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Business Growth, as Founders Bridge CIC and The Diaspora
Code continue to deliver practical initiatives that empower entrepreneurs, professionals and
business owners with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed.
